摘要： 上海不仅是中国早期电影与电影理论的发祥地，也是中国现代城市文化展示自己、面向世界的一个窗口。上海早期电影理论在其自身的发展演进中有一些悖论现象，同时积极参与上海城市文化的现代性建构，与城市文化建设具有密切关联。今天反观当时早期电影理论与城市文化建设的关系，可以帮助我们深刻认识早期电影理论对当今电影理论的发展、当下中国电影理论与智慧城市之间的密切关系，并对加深两者的内涵建设具有重要的意义。

Abstract: As the birthplace of early Chinese films and film theories, Shanghai is also a window showing modern Chinese city culture to the world. Despite some paradoxes developed during the evolution process, Shanghai early film theories, through active participation in the modern construction of Shanghai city culture, are closely associated with city culture. This paper studies the relationship between early film theories and cityculture construction, deepens the understanding of how early film theories have influenced the growth of modern Chinese film theories and intelligent cities, thus contributes to the connotation construction of modern film theories and intelligent cities in China.
