关于运动激愤式自杀社会意义赋予的探讨

摘要： 中国1919-1928年社会运动中的自杀事件具有“运动激愤”的特征。自杀事件发生后的媒体报道、追悼会与学者评论可以说明自杀被赋予了社会意义。运用社会建构论等理论和方法可以对运动激愤式自杀行动社会意义赋予的过程、方式、话语及其与中国现代社会运动进程的关系作出说明。

Abstract: The paper argues that the suicides during the 1919-1928 social movements show the characteristics of the indignant suicide. The media report, funeral, and scholar criticism to the suicides provide rich materials of how suicide is endowed with social meaning. By using social construction theory, the paper demonstrates the correlation between the modern social progress and the aspects of links, way, and discourse embodied in the social meaning of indignant suicides.
