摘要： 在西方人的出行游历的历史中，古罗马迎来了一个新高潮。古罗马时期的旅行不仅获得了古代世界难得的时空条件，即在古代世界更广阔的地域空间展现其游历行走活动，而且还在近代旅游产生之前的西方旅游史上真正引入了现代人定义的旅游，即以消遣性的愉悦和娱乐为目的的旅游活动。因此,对古罗马旅游现象的探究有助于对古罗马时空世界的认识，也为加深对今天旅游现象和本质的认识提供一种解读。

Abstract: Abstract: In the travel history of the West, trip in ancient Rome highlights an upsurge. Ancient Rome not only has the space-time condition of its broad area for travel but also introduced tourism of modern concept: travel for pastime and entertainment. Probe into the tourism of ancient Rome helps understand the Roman world and interpret the nature and aspects of current tourism.
