摘要： 唐五代三百四十余年间，有姓名可考并有贬地记载的贬官共2828人次。从其分布时期看，中晚唐人次最多；而列前九位者依次为宪宗、文宗、玄宗、宣宗、懿宗、德宗、武后、代宗、高宗诸朝。从其分布地域看，南方是唐王朝流贬官员的主要地区，岭南道、江南西、东道和山南东道因荒远偏僻，更成了处置贬官的首选之地，就中岭南道、江南西道所辖39州共有贬官721人次，占唐五代贬官总数的25．5%，故最值得重视。

Abstract: For more than 340 years of Tang dynasty and Wu Dai periods, there were 2828 persons demoted according to the record. In the temporal distribution of demotion, most of them lived in the midor lateTang Dynasty, and in the spatial distribution, the south, like Lingnan and Jiangnan which are remote and isolated, is the main area chosen as the demotion place especially in Tang Dynasty, which is the most worthy of studying.
