“Metaverse”: A Future Concept at the Initial #br# Stage of Its Basic Technology

摘要：  “元宇宙”是虚拟现实技术发展到一定阶段必然出现的产物。人类需要构建起沉浸式互联网，从而让各领域的全仿真程度的数字化转型工作以更具整体性的形态得以全面展开。目前“元宇宙”仍是处在其基础技术阶段的未来概念，但它已彰显了构建下一代互联网的必要性和可行性。“元宇宙”所涉及的最初级的基础设施建设和相关软件技术，以及应用端的内容生产机制都已具备雏形。虚拟现实技术的升级在给人类社会带来了前所未有的变革契机的同时，也蕴含着相关风险，如何把握机遇，迎接挑战和开创新局面是需要审慎对待的时代课题。

Abstract:  “Metaverse” is an inevitable product of the development of virtual reality technology. Humans need to build the “Embodied Internet”, so that the full-simulation of digital transformation in various fields can be achieved in a more integrated form. At present, despite being a future concept at the initial stage of its basic technology, “Metaverse” has demonstrated the necessity and feasibility of building the next-generation Internet. The basic infrastructures, relevant software technologies and application-side content production mechanism involved in “Metaverse” have already taken shape. The upgrading of virtual reality technology has brought human society unprecedented opportunities of transformation as well as potential risks. How to grasp the opportunities, meet the challenges and create new prospects are important targets of the times requiring prudent consideration.
