独立电影批评的历史缺位

摘要: 长期以来,中国电影一直是国家意识形态的宣传和规训工具,而电影批评则更是处于“工具的工具”的卑贱地位,成为严厉的意识形态棍子,打击电影;而当中国电影向市场回归,成为消费市场的娱乐工具时,电影批评既要服从行政命令,又必须响应消费市场的召唤,形成“一仆二主”格局。这种独立电影批评的缺席现状,就是专业电影批评所面临的最大困境。

Abstract: Chinese films have been the tool of national ideology to propagandize and to discipline, and film criticism, as "the tool of the tool", has oppressed films forcefully and heartlessly. When Chinese films return to market economy and become the tool of entertainment, film criticism not only obeys administrative decrees but also responds to the demand of market, so the situation of "one servant serves two masters" comes into being. The absence of independent film criticism is the greatest dilemma which professional film criticism encounters.
