Abstract: With the expansion of the livinggarden of the college student, the relationship between the livinggarden and the neighboring resident community has further been osculated. And the status of the college student as an ordinary resident has also further been revealed. Moreover, under the condition of the socialization and lifeorientation of the college student management, he or she is further imperative to be melted into the society while the integrative quality of the neighboring resident is further required to improve by virtue of the college student resource. This essay, from different perspectives, analyzes the necessity of the joint development of the student livinggarden and the resident community. It is necessary to fully use their respective advantages, and, through creating a good environment of mutual understanding, supporting and developing, to establish a mutualcomplementary, winwin system of the joint development of the student livinggarden and the resident community.
