The Chinese-Language Big Film and the Chinese Film Industry

Abstract: Abstract: While, in the Chinese mainland, the problems of the Chineselanguage films, especially the problems of the big films, have something with the unreasonable structure of the Chinese film industry, this unreasonable structure concerns the Chinese film audience's understanding of the Chinese film industry as well as the policies for determining its development system, mechanism and industrialization. Therefore, it is vital for the Chinese film critics, from the perspective of the film industry, to reorganize and reinterpret the development of the Chinese film. This essay, based on such aspects as the film system and industrial distribution of the New China, the Chinese film industry of the new period, the film mechanism reform, the film industrialization promotion, the change of the Chinese film industry, the Chineselanguage big film, and the film industrialization with Chinese characteristics, organizes the development of the Chinese film industry, and summarizes the relative historical experiences, and finally looks to the development of the future.
