Compare and Contrast The United Nations Convention against Corruption and the
Criminal Legislation of The People's Republic Of China on Bribery Legislation

Abstract: The United Nations Convention against Corruption (Convention) has advocated scientific ideas and strategies to control corruption in the international society, and provided a basic law guidelines and operational principles of anticorruption. The provisions on the crime of bribery in The Criminal Law Of The People's Republic Of China are basically adapted to the Convention, but there exists difference in some aspects. To correspond to the international standards, it is necessary to enforce the criminal legislation on bribery.
