科举背景下的明清教育对文学的负面影响

摘要: 科举背景下的明清教育颠覆了唐宋教育重视文学的传统,转而对文学采取排斥的态度。明清教育实践中理学内容对文学内容的置换在根本上弱化了文学的基础,给明清文学带来了诸多负面影响,其最明显的表征就是雅文学的衰落。

Abstract: The branch of Jin Shi is the core of the imperial examinations, but its leading content in the Tang and Song dynasties is literature, while in Ming and Qing dynasties it is Confucian philosophy instead. Consequently, the Ming and Qing education overthrows the tradition of valuing literature established in Tang and Song dynasties, and contrarily takes an exclusive attitude toward literature. The replacement of literature with Confucian philosophy in educational practice has weakened the basis of Ming and Qing literature and produced much negative influence in many ways, of which the most evident embodiment is the decline of the classical literature.
