Abstract: The ancient Chinese poetry reveals various traditional Chinese cultures, and the adorning culture is such a culture full of Chinese characteristics. Under the current condition of cultural globalization, translation should be considered not only as a kind of language exchange but also as a kind of cultural communication. In view of this particularity, different principles and flexible strategies should be carried out in translating the adorning culture in the ancient Chinese poetry.
