Abstract: The entertainment activities of the countryside and metropolis are classified into different features and function respectively. Rural performances implement cultural functions: the audience and actors share the historical sense of existence and historicity of reality. Theaters in the cities and metropolis are putting on various artistryemphasized performances. The heterogeneity of the rurality and urbanity is clearcutly presented in the great fission of knowledge status between the rural and the urban due to the reformation of educational system.
