The Religion and Society in Hong Kong: A Reflection on the Cases and Theories

Abstract: The religious activities of Hong Kong are well worth studying. This essay, by analysis of some cases of Hong Kong's society, draws the following conclusions: (1) different regions having different social functions or roles of the religion; (2) different religions also having different social functions or roles in the same region but complementing each other; (3) different times also having different social functions or roles even in the same religion or region.
