Abstract: The poetry since Song Dynasty has been characterized with the trend of routinization, localization and privatization to some degree. Zhuzhici of Qing Dynasty, poetry expressing longing for friends and loved ones, the compilation of collections like Nostalgic Collection, poetry in memory of the past and so on made the trend all the more obvious. Among them, enormous concomitant nonclassical poems have unique value hard to be explained by classical poetics. “Situational Poetics” in particular, which has been refined during the birth and development of poetry since the Song Dynasty, emphasizes psychic and livelihood levels, thus entrusting modern poetry with new meaning in terms of routinization, localization and privatization in concrete life situations. “Situational Poetics” not only points to modern poetry, but also works as an effective route to understanding nonclassical poetry through the ages.
Key words: situational poetics, psychic history, livelihood history, routinization, localization, privatization
