Abstract: With challenges of Hollywood globalization, the national aesthetics of Chinese movies should not be diluted; on the contrary, it needs more attention. The vitality of national aesthetics is easy to find in the history of Asian cinema. Moreover, the fundamental cultural direction is the crucial resource embodying national characters.
