Abstract: Genetic Modified biotechnology has developed rapidly since 1980s.There has long been a dispute of the security of the Genetic Modified agricultural products and foods among the international community, especially between two big interest groups US and EU. At present, EU takes the most strictly measures to supervise GM foods and has developed a complete law system for over ten years since 1990s. With different attitudes on GM foods, the paper studies systematically the GM foods legislation in EU and China and their latest development, puts forward some perfect legislative suggestions by referring the ripe experiences of EU.
