A Critique on Modern Academic System: Intention and Method of Cultural Studies

Abstract: As an interdisciplinary project, cultural studies is the product of western intellectual movement during the late 20th century, which emphasizes the role that lived experiences play in humanities. Furthermore, cultural studies has sought to develop ways of thinking about knowledge and power. Consequently, it challenges the three myths in modern western humanities-autonomous, disciplinary and objective.
