Abstract: Vij ānamātra (Consciousnessonly theory) and Tiantai Sect view the reality world as Alayaconsciousness (Store Consciousness) and Yinian Sanqian (everything in a thoughtmoment) respectively. Yinian Sanqian in Tiantai Sect, not only of Ignorance but also of Dharmas, is basically consistent with "an undefiledneutral mind" in Alayaconsciousness and its distillation from defilement to purity (samkésavyavadāna), both of which can be included in the Buddhist idealism, only with different degrees. The pundit does not think himself of an idealist to the extent of arguing abont Consciousness which governs everything in Vijānamā. It be said that Vijānamā is Strong Idealism, Tiantai Sect Weak Idealism.
Key words: Yinian Sanqian, arisal (pratityasamutpada), mindonly, Alayaconsciousness
