Abstract: Vij ānamātra (Consciousnessonly theory) and Tiantai Sect view the reality world as Alayaconsciousness (Store Consciousness) and Yinian Sanqian (everything in a thoughtmoment) respectively. Yinian Sanqian in Tiantai Sect, not only of Ignorance but also of Dharmas, is basically consistent with "an undefiledneutral mind" in Alayaconsciousness and its distillation from defilement to purity (samkésavyavadāna), both of which can be included in the Buddhist idealism, only with different degrees. The pundit does not think himself of an idealist to the extent of arguing abont Consciousness which governs everything in Vijānamā. It be said that Vijānamā is Strong Idealism, Tiantai Sect Weak Idealism.

Key words: Yinian Sanqian, arisal (pratityasamutpada), mindonly, Alayaconsciousness
